Position Summary

We are looking for a superstar administration professional to assist with the opening of the new Brimbank Aquatic and Wellness Centre

Rate $32.89 per hour

The role

This is a permanent part time position of 25 hours a week. Given the nature of the leisure centres, early morning, evening and weekend work may be required. Key tasks of the role include:

  • Managing the reporting of financial performance of the leisure centres
  • Cafe, merchandise and retail stock management
  • Direct debit management and debt collection
  • Membership administration and auditing
  • Invoicing for third party organisations
  • Supporting the training and induction of new staff
  • Ensuring the leisure centres are operating in the most efficient and effective way possible

About you

To succeed in this role, you will have

  • Willingness to learn and help other people
  • Strong administrative and financial management skills
  • A strong community first approach to customer service
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, particularly during periods of high demand
  • Excellent computer and communication skills.
  • Experience and understanding of how a leisure centre operates
  • Experience working with PerfectGym is preferred

Brimbank City Council has two leisure centres, Sunshine Leisure Centre and Brimbank Aquatic and Wellness Centre. The role will require work across both centres.

The City of Brimbank is located in the western and north-western suburbs of Melbourne, between 11 and 23 kilometres west and north-west of the Melbourne CBD. Brimbank is multicultural with half of the residents born outside Australia.
